Under 3 yr old and dessert parties and EMM?

So, how do you reserve for dessert parties or EMM for a group with an under 3 yr old? I'm guessing I will have to call instead of booking online? I assume they don't charge for the under 3 yr old?

Correct, They don’t charge for under 3years old. You can certainly buy online. It should ask for each person’s age or it may already have that info loaded in your My Disney Experiences profile so you should be able to purchase online without difficulty. Hard ticket events will ask how many of each ticket you want, guests 10+ or guests 3-9, just like park tickets so then you would just answer appropriately and leave out anyone under 3.

To clarify, for dessert parties, it is like an ADR so they want the total number of people included on the reservation (I think for fire code) but then it should only charge you based on ages provided.

I haven’t done a dessert party, but I’ve done EMM once and booked 2 more for our upcoming trip. I always book online and I have a child under 3. It calculates the price based on everyone’s age. So, my reservations are for 3 people, but I was only charged for 2 adults.
