Under 17 yrs old - no passport required!

I agree $37 is worth it. There are probably many kids out there missing as the walls at Wal-Mart portray. I would rather have my papers in order than be delayed b/c my kid might look like one of those missing children that Border Services has a lookout for.

Also, for those of you who have children from previous relationships, a very good idea to have travel letters from your ex allowing travel for your children, and a copy of your custody/separation/divorce papers. There is a sample letter on the passports site regarding passports and traveling with children.

I was never questioned when traveling to Mexico with my son, but I felt so much better knowing I had all my papers in case there was a problem. :flower3:
