Under 13 son with phone - can he still use magic mobile?

So Disney does not let my 12 year old have his own magic mobile account. Should he log into my account on his phone to be able to access its functionality? Also wondering if we are both logged in under my account if he can try to get a ROTR boarding group at the same time as me.

My kids are 22 and 19. Just got back from Disney. They only use my account. They don't have their own set up. We all tried one morning for ROTR on the same account. DD got it and we were group 26.
