Would like to ask your advice...

We're dining at Narcooses for the first time in a couple weeks...what do you suggest. DH is fairly adventurous in his meats and some fish...as you know I'll eat only chicken or filet :)

Would love to hear your suggestions!

Anne

PS--Also dining at Cape May Cafe, Shulas, Portabello YC, Citrico's, CG, Le Cellier, and of course Jiko!

Last outing, we had Fanny bay bacon wrapped Oysters and Squash and Crab soup as appertizers.
Entrees were Pan Seared Jumbo Scallops and a wonderful Pork tenderloin.
Dessert for both of us was Key Lime Creme Brulee.

All were excellent and recommended!! I do recall they have a filet and free-range Chicken on the menu, but never had either.

Oh--Mrs Uncleromulus always gets the recommended wine that comes with her entree, and I have a Dixie Blackened Vodoo (when they have it) or a Killians.
And we always ask for Steve as our server.
Hope this helps!!

Thanks! I knew you would have the answers! Yes, I had seen the chicken and tenderloin on the menu, we're eating at Le Cellier the night before and Jiko the night after, so chicken it will be for me :) And we will be sure to ask for Steve. Other than Ron at Jiko, any other suggested servers?

Just Pete and Terry at V&A-and John Combs if you happen to get to Portobello Yacht Club.

Hope you like Narcoosee's!!

I had the free range chicken at Narcoossee's and it was great. At the time it was served with some type of vegetable ragout, (if I remember correctly), but I substituted the cheesey grits which I find awesome!!!!

ducklite....Try Denise at LeCellier. She has taken care of us our last three times there and she is fantastic. Also, there is a Debbie at Narcoossee's that has some relatives in Toms River, NJ so you may have something to chat about. Have a great time.
P.S. My DD loves the butternut squash/crab soup that Uncleromulus mentioned.

Thanks for the help all!

Anne
