Unborrowed points from multiple contracts

I recently canceled a reservation for December that used over 600 borrowed points from multiple contracts. When I canceled, I was told the points would be unborrowed. It’s been about a week, and one of the contracts has 84 points that now show they were unborrowed. All the others remain as they were the day she canceled the reservation. Is that typical for the points to be returned at various times if they are from multiple contracts? I’m not sure if I should wait another week to see if the points are returned or call now to sort it out. Thanks in advance for your advice.

i had the same thing happen..one contract went back and other did not.

I decided to call because I needed them to make a new reservation. They do the sweep on Thursdays.

I had this happen. All my points were unborrowed except 36 across 2 other contracts. I waited 2 weeks. Apparently the "unborrow" process runs on Thursday. Then I finally called MS and they unborrowed the points right then and there while I was on hold. Call them, they will fix it.

I want to add that the one point that didn’t get put back last week, did this week, so it seems to catch up eventually

With hearing that, maybe I should wait until next Friday and see if anything changes. I don’t want to wait on hold only to be told I need to give it the full two weeks. I’m not in a hurry for the points, I just don’t like it being unresolved.

That was why i didn’t call...for one point.. if you are in no rush to use, I’d wait as well.

Mine became unborrowed the next day. Cancelled on Wednesday and thankfully added a day to a December stay. Some of the points from the cancelled vacation were banked, and I had a chat to be sure the banked points were used. Within a few hours after my transaction, all borrowed points were returned to 2021.

I was hoping mine would be seamless, but I have a feeling the multiple contracts and high point number that was borrowed complicated things. I’m hopeful that next Thursday the rest will be fixed, but if not, I’ll call. I will report back what happens in case it will help someone else.

Update: I called today since the remaining points hadn't been moved as of this afternoon, and they fixed it while I was on the phone. I feel better now that it's finished! I only had to wait about 15 minutes, so the hold time was better today than in the past few weeks.
