Hello,
I am hoping *fingers crossed* that someone can help me out. I bought a exchange certificate for an AP today (I guess they were once called vouchers for APs?). I come home to try and log onto
https://secure.disney.go.com/wdw/passholder/passholdersGate
and the numbers on my certificate is not in the same form as the ones listed on the site.
Can anyone offer suggestions or have experienced the same problem.
I bought the pass as I want to book a room and now I'm out of luck until tomorrow morning. :(

lol I read the qustion backwards. I would just keep trying combos until something works. Did you see that they have I think 2 different types of exchange certificates on the list?

I also wanted to add to make sure to check the cancelation policy when you book on-line vs calling CRO to book I think they may have slightly different policies.

I think you have to call betwen certain hours to book a stay because your voucher technically isnt a annual pass until you go through the gate on the first day of use. I was told when I bought my annual pass at the end of our trip that although I had annual pass numbers my pass wouldn't be valid until I used it once. I went home logged in anyways and my pass was no good. When you log on to the pass holder site your expiration date is on there and it welcomes you with your name. You won't have an expiration date because your pass hasn't been used yet. Hope this helps my numbers fit in the form and they didnt work on the web-site until after I used my tickets and came back from my trip.

Book on the PHONE. the cancellation policies are different. I know the web policies are a lot more strict. I looked at AP rates last week for 2 weeks from now. THe only valeue resort on the web was All Satr Sports. I called the reservations office the next morning and had my choice of Movis, Music, Sports and Pop.

I can't help you with the certificate, I always buy my AP when I am there. If you are booking an AP rate, you don't need it to book, but you do need it to check in, at least that is the rules. I have never been asked for my AP at check in, but I always have it available.

I posted a reply on a similar thread - this may be of help? :)

FWIW, I have been able to log in fine with just a PAP voucher, so the pass definitely does not need to be activated for you to gain access.

Thank you all! I was able to log in. I kept trying and trying and it suddenly worked. I am guessing maybe there was a delay in it being activated by Disney.
So if you book on the phone is it the same rates as you see online? Online has a cancellation policy of 46 days out...is it the same on the phone?

As I said before, more resorts were available via phione, the rates are the same. And the cancellation is 5 days out for phone, niot 46.
