I guess a local Ace Hardware store right by my apartment was held up. (people were pointing guns at people). I don't know exactly what they stole, if anything, but the entire strip mall, including a Krogers, was shut down. Also the apartment complex I live in had cops everywhere. Someone in another building had the S.W.A.T. team bust down their door with sub-machine guns and massive german sheppard police dogs, and were searching everything. I don't know if they found the people who did it though.

Last night the pharmacy right near my house got robbed. whoever did it stole drugs (like Oxycoden and stuff like that.) and they thought a kid on my block did it. (he didn't, but yeah...). So what do I drive home too? Five million cops surrounded this kid's car, right at the entrance to my street.

and last weekend, the Walgreens around the corner from me got robbed too. they stole the same stuff too. coincidence? lol

The thing I don't get, is why in the world would you rob a hardware store? I mean, I can see it if its the only one in town and gets a ton of buisness, but common. We have like 5 of them, and I can bet you each of them only have like 30 in their cash registers.

well I live more into the country.. so I have really nothing to worry about but before I use to live in the city and it was pretty bad there but now I'm gooooood!

OMG, I would freak!

Happened around here a while ago too... except it was a bank! Me and my mom were in the car driving by and there was all these police cars surrounding the entrance of the bank and the ext and all around it. And there was loads of policemen and police dogs out. It was pretty scary.
