A lot of folks love DLR in the rain, simply because it drives the crowds waaaaaaay down. I do like that aspect of it - and I love bundling up in warm clothes rather than roasting in the heat - but I have been there a couple of times during super heavy, downpour-type rain, and I found it very inconvenient. My friend planted themselves on a bench and didn't want to move or take silly photos in our ponchos, and I was reluctant to take out the camera in the rain. We were drenched, even with the ponchos. I do wear glasses, so they got completely streaked and I couldn't see. Even after the rain stopped, it seemed that whatever ride we got on - even the indoor ones - had big puddles in the seats, which was not fun. I just didn't like it. If it were lightly raining and not blinding rain, it would be much better for me. But, again, lots of folks love DLR in the rain, and it is supposed to be a pretty good storm in SoCal. I wonder how that will affect the holiday activities like the tree lighting and Castle lighting, snowfall, etc.
Make sure to let us know how the rain is impacting the holiday stuff - I am sure it will be good info for people to know in case they have a trip planned for a time when it is pouring!
Have a great time!!
