We use an umbrella stroller but it's a Chicco. The handles reach up higher and you can recline it a little. We used it last year when dd was about 10 months old in Universal and Sea World with no problems at all. :)

I use a Maclaren - I don't see a poll option for a expensive umbrella stroller, but this is what I've used at Disney for DS since he was 8 months. It's great. Perfect for 8 mo - 20 mo at WDW so far (4 trips during this age). I have a Triumph, so all the convenience of a basic umbrella stroller plus some amount of recline. Very easy too for solo trips with just DS and I.

In the past we've taken our bulk Peg Perego Pliko P3. That thing is HARD to fold super fast when you are trying to hop on a bus or the tram. NOT FUN!!!! We recently bought a Maclaren Quest and will be taking that in March. I can't wait to try it out over there but I'm loving it at home. It reclines and everything and is soooooo much easier to push than our old cheap umbrella stroller.

Ours is simlar t ths, but no padding or chest cover, BUT at $59 free shipping it is a good alternative when a busy active day is planned. but, I know the umbrellas are nice for an in and out, but not a cheapo for the Day as Disney.

I just wanted to share this inexpensive one from Amazon, for the same amount as the stollers in the shops at Disney,

ITA! OP forgot this option. High quality umbrella strollers are definitely the way to go as cheapy umbrella strollers aren`t made to get out of the driveway, much less around WDW. There are many different options now in regards to price, so if people can`t afford Macs or Pegs, there are other strollers available. The Kolcraft stroller that is sold at Disney is pretty sturdy and is a good price and that is probably the best option! That being said, I love my Macs (I have 2) and my Peg!

Happy strollering, Tiger :)

You can find a maclaren triumph in coral pink or brown on ebay for the same price as the volo in store. $90 with free shipping or $110 for the brown and pink also free shipping. The triumph reclines and comes with a rain cover it is great. We just bought two for our June trip. It also has a 55 lb weight limit so my older child can ride too if needed. The carry strap is great. These run $180 in stores.

Yep, Maclaren is definitely the way to go. I balked a bit at the price, but I ended up getting one for our trip to England when she was 6 months old, and have used it on a trip to WDW and a second trip to England. Now she's 20 months old and we're taking it to WDW again. I pretty much stopped using my big expensive stroller once I got the Mac Quest. It fits through any gap I can fit through, and yet it's big enough that she's still going to fit when she's 5. I would definitely recommend buying one of those red gate check bags for it. They're pretty cheap, and even after the first flight the bag came off the plane looking like he** but my stroller did not. After 3 flights it's probably time for a new bag, it's stained with grease and torn badly, but my stroller is still in great condition.

I use nice, non cheap umbrella strollers. For a single, I have a Euro Quinny Zapp. For a double, I have a Baby jogger mini.

No way on the 17.99 brs stroller. I bought the mac quest for our trip and it was great for the airport or quick around the resort. We rented the graco and a full crib from A babys best friend and it was awesome. The graco was good for long park days b/c of the extra stortage and sun coverage. If you must do lightweight than I highly suggest a mac. have fun!
