Um, yet another WDW YES program question...

Sorry. I've looked at a bunch (I mean a BUNCH) of old threads along with the YES program website, but I can't find the 100% clear answer to this:

Will I be able to purchase a discounted park pass for my younger child (3) through this, as well as for the adult staying with him (and not accompanying my then 13-year-old during the class)? Or is the park pass purchase only available for the enrolled student and however # of adults actually go with her to the class?

The program sounds amazing, but I'm thinking I may be out of luck until the next trip, when DD will be 15 and DS will be 5, so they both can attend...

TIA!

When my daughter participated in the YES program, she went unattended with the group. (The group had chaperones but it wasn't a member of our family) I was able to buy discounted tickets for her, myself, DH and my mom. She made new friends, enjoyed the class and had a really good experience. The discount on the tix was wonderful too!

It is for immediate family of the student. My DD10 was the only one participating in a class with DH accompanying her, but that qualified us to get tickets for DS14 (sadly, no age-appropriate class available), DD3, and myself as well.

Your situation is very much like ours - 2 kids + 2 adults, but only 1 kid in the program. Only our oldest is doing the program. When you sign up for the program, you enter in all the first names and ages of ALL the children, and the first & last names of all the adults. On the next page, you'll put a check mark next to the people actually attending the program. The computer totals up the # of people in the class & all the people total and figures your bill based on that.

For us, 4-day park hopper with water park add-on, a 6 year old, an 11 year old, and 2 adults. $752.xx.

Honestly, it might make sense to just try to sign up and let it walk you through - then exit out before it gets to the point where you enter your CC information. It's less confusing than it sounds. You may not be sure you're doing it right, but it will make more sense the further you get into it.

Yes, you'll be able to buy a ticket for your youngest child.

In our case, my older two children enrolled in classes, one with me as a chaperone, one without a parent. We got tickets for both of them, our youngest child (age 6 at the time) and DH and I.

Thanks, everyone, for the information! DD is really looking forward to possibly doing this.... and DH was surprised that we could save so much $$ doing something extra! :thumbsup2

I have a question about this program, I had looked into it with my Girl Scouts and it says you need to have a minimun of 10. If we did this as a family, there are 5 of us. Is that ok or am I looking at a totally different thing?

Ok, went and saw you can do it for individuals. Found 2 programs for my kids, that they are very excited about! Thanks for posting about this!
