We recently made room only reservations for Aug. 2005 at the Poly LVC for 7 nights. I figured we would get the Ultimate Park Hopper tickets. I see that the Park Hopper Plus tickets cost less and seem to include the same admissions. We will need the 7 night - 8 day tickets. Any thoughts as to the better buy? Thanks!

The UPH tickets are good only for that stay. If you plan on doing all the parks, water parks, and everything else every day this would be a good option for you. We always buy PHP tickets, currently have the 7 days plus 4 options ones for all of us (me, DH, 4 kids.) We DO NOT go into a park every day. We do pool days, shopping days, and visit relatives in the area for one day each trip. Unused days and options never expire. We used 3 park days in March, will use 1 park day and 2 options in October. We make the PHPs last through at least 3 trips. Hope this helps....Lacee

The only think that is differant about the to is the PHP you can save for other trips the UPH you can't also Disney Quest is included in the UPH and not in the PHP.

Another option to look into is are you going back in a year or less if so look into a Annual Pass I dont think that they are about $120 much more I think the break even point was ten days. Pluss you do get some discounts with the pass.

I love Disneyquest and go more than once so the UMP is a good option for me. The park Hopper does include but not waterparks unless you pay for the more expensive one. e try ot do about 2 or 3 water parks days (Partial days that is) when we go.

I think what you need to do is think about what you plan to do. If its parks only and no disneyquest and water parks the annual may be your best option.

If you plan to do water parks but no Disneyquest then Im sure the hopper will be a good option but I dont think they go over 7 days?

If you even plan to walk into Disneyquest for a short time you will be better off with UMP. I love to do Disneyquest a few hours at a time when I happen to be in Downtown disney.

we just returned from WDW and stayed at ASMo. i learned a valuable lesson this trip....i will never buy UPH. the reason? they expire at the end of your stay. we lost a day to hurricane charley and if we had the uph we wouldn't be able to "save" the day for another year......php don't expire, while uph do. if we'd purchased the uph, we would have lost a day! JMHO::yes::

I could see where buying UPH's might be a good idea for those that want to do all of the water parks, parks and Disney Quest (and possibly Pleasure Island), but except for one of my children, they are too young to want to go to DQ. And we don't really like PL.

If you are there 7 nights, that means you have what? 7 park days (If you get there late the first day or leave before afternoon the last day, you are really only getting 7 days)

We get the 7 day hoppers that have 4 plus visits. Say you have 7 park days...........you spend 5 days in the parks and 2 days at a water park. Then you have 2 park days and 2 water park days left that never expire.

But it depends on the ages of children and your preferences if you would want to do this.

Bubbas mom you was suppose to check with your front dest before you left to get a refund on Friday= hurricane day. They handed out papers as you enterd the park on Friday to see your front desk if you have the type of ticket that expires. Maybe you can call your hotel to see who to contact after the fact?

LOL UMP, php, UPH whats a few letter between friends right?

Barbday62--- we had purchased single day passes (we only planned 2 days at MK before heading to our family's house for the rest of the week) and used one day and got another non-expiring pass to return another time. we purchased single day becuz it was cheapest way for us to go at the time. we fly to florida every year to spend time with my in-laws and since ds is now 5 1/2, we decided to start detouring to disney to do one park a year for 2 days. so, the day we checked out, i was able to go to guest relations and get a late check-out (waiting for bil to come pick us up) and get credit for friday tickets. they actually offered a refund, but since i had the money to pay, i decided to take the credit. btw....if it was only dh and myself, we would have been at the park on friday...but, ds didn't even get up till 9:30am that day!! (spent the whole previous day in park since we only decided to have one day) .....so, i thank you for the info, but i did take care of it there!! can't wait to go next year!!!
