Good evening guys. Me and my partner are going to Disney this December, our first time as DVC owners! One thing I am unsure of is how we go about collecting our tickets. Usually we have gone to Disney Springs to collect as we have stayed off site (when we have stayed onsite, other people have sorted our tickets). This time we will be collecting our new Magic Bands on arrival at our resort, and they are already linked to our MDE account (as are our tickets).

Will the tickets therefore be automatically linked to our bands (both existing and new) or do we still have to go to Disney Springs (or a park) on arrival to collect them etc? Any info would be greatly appreciated, cheers :earsboy:

Once you've picked up your Magicbands when you check in you'll be good. You'll also be able to use your old bands. We now have loads of bands indifferent colours and usually take one set with us. Handy for the check in for MDE when we land at MCO. While we're not DVC owners we very often stay at SSR or OKW so also get our bands when we check in and, as they are linked to our MDE account, there's nothing further to do. The only thing we have to go to DS for is our $200 gift card if we've booked the free DDP offer early enough. Congratulations! Riviera is a beautiful resort: love the easy access to Skyliners from there.

Thanks so much, thats fantastic. Yeah we had a good luck around Riviera when it first opened before we finally committed, we're really excited.
