UK Mother's Day

Hi this may seem like an odd question but when is Mother's Day in the UK. My friends and I are huge Coronation St fans, but the episodes we get here are months behind. That's why I'm wondering when Mother's Day is - they just celebrated it on the show and we want to know how far behind we actually are.

It's a Church festival (Mothering Sunday) and falls on the 4th Sunday in Lent. Therefore it can vary from year to year but as Carolfoy said it is around the middle to end of March.

Thanks for the info - that also now settles a squabble between my friend and I - she said Easter was already over but I was saying it wasn't. So if Mother's Day is before Easter that means I'm Right!! Woo hoo!! Now at least I know we are watching March 2006 episodes.
