UK Cruisers....birth certificate?

Do cruisers from the UK need to take their birth certificate along? Or will a passport suffice?

We have always just had a passport and been fine. You may want to take along your photo id driving licence if you have one as you will need photo id to get back on the ship at the ports. DCL keep your passport but if you don't have any other photo id they will give you a photocopy to use. We just found it easier to use the driving licence.

remember, the passport is the ultimate form of ID...it trumps all! When in doubt, us it! A friend lost her wallet a few years ago, and having her passport saved her a lot of headache at the DMV.
