Uhm...Tornado?!?!

We have a tornado warnign for Hamilton, CANADA..

I have never ever in my lIFE had a warning or a toronado, Ive never seen one, Im so confused..

My kitties are scared..

Dont be afraid, we keep getting tornado warnings, and to be honest, it rains for a wile, and then that was the "tornado".

Wow... I don't remember there ever being a tornado warning when I was in Canada, there's was just snow, rain, wind and extreme heat warnings.

Living in Missouri, we get those a lot.
It's usually a false alarm for us.

I was "in" a tornado two days ago, but nothing happened.

I wish you luck though.
I really pray nothing happens.

It's probably nothing.
Two summers ago we got a wack load of them up in the mountains and near Great Lake but they never actually became anything.
I remember ... 3 summers ago? God, I don't know when it was, but I came home early from a cottage trip because I wasn't doing good, and my friends were crossing a lake in the middle of what was almost a tornado...
Not smart on their part.

I think I'm going to sit out 15 minutes every night until the summer ends.

We recently on Thursday night/Friday had a tornado watch or warning, whatever it was. Our power was out for 14 hours! I usually don't get that scared because our street and area is hilly and would likely make a tornado lose steam. We did have a tornado touch down about 15-20 minutes from my house though nine years ago.

Don't worry, they are usually nothing.

I saw two funnel clouds over our town awhile back...
We've had to go to a shelter a couple times this week already.
We have watches all the time and lately had some warnings...
You should be fine, but if it gets too close, head to your basement or take cover.
Better safe than sorry.

Okay so today my family and I were driving home from up-north in Michigan, and we started hearing about all these storms that were coming across Michigan so we kept an eye out. Then about 10 minutes later we hear the warning thingy on the radio, and it said that there was a tornado warning in effect right where we were. So then we see people in front of us start to pull over, and the sirens went off, so then us too pulled off the road. It was pouring down rain, and hailing, and then the worst happened....we were actually in the middle of the tornado!!!!! Things were flying everywhere, and you couldn't see a thing, and the wind was so strong, it was so scary! So after it was all over, the tops of the trees were off, campers, and boats, and signs were all tipped over. The crazy thing about it was that about 7 years ago the same exact thing happened to us, and the same exact place. No joke at all. But anyway just be careful.

We've had a couple of "Tornado Warnings" before.
But that's just the GTA weather people being the over-reacting drama queens that they are (DARN YOU HAROLD HUSSEIN!!)

Anyways, I was working and I didn't really hear much about any tornadoes, it got really dark at one point, lots of thunder & lightening!! Not alot of wind though.

I love it when we have "Tornado Warnings", it's just really really windy, rainy weather.

I heard about it when I came back yesterday! It was on Sunday, right? I guess I came back when it was over. It was in Toronto, also. D: ( and Mississauga )

Honestly it turned out to be the worst Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado watch EVER. I was super disappointed

However 2 summers ago there was an actual Tornado in my town that ripped a couple of roofs off, so the whole Tornados in Canada thing doesn't suprise me anymore.
