uh oh Yachtsman Refurb

Looks like it is going to be closed during our Sept trip (it is scheduled to open the day we go home lol).....the carnivore in my life is not going to be very happy about this. This is his very favorite meal while at WDW...any suggestions I can offer him other him that will compare to the 24 oz poeterhouse (other than LeCellier, it is just my opinion but I don't find LeCellier worth 2 dining credits).

Ugh I am sorru I can't find where I saw this now. I just saw it last night and it would have been on here, allears or the WDW official site...so it is true.

I just can not find it to see the exact date it starts....I believe it was some time in August and I know the reopening date it 09/15.

Just take a short walk over to the Dolphin. Shula's has what you're looking for.

I hear ya...however, Cali Grill is not suppose to close until early 2013 so you will be O.K. for your September trip. We too will be there at the end of Aug/beginning of September and are bummed that TT will be out of commission and that Yachtsman's will be closed. My DH loves that place too and he was really bummed by the news. So instead of us going there we decided to fit in 2 1 credit meals into our plans. He seems to be happy with our choices so that is good . Let's just hope that nothing else will be closing before we get there .

If your not able to go to the Yatchsman, Just go to the Captains Grill, it's just down the hallway at the Yatch club, you walk right past it when going to the yatchsman, The steaks come out of the same Kitchen. They look almost the same.
