Uh OH what happens if our flight tpmorrow is

DELAYED! we are having a huge freezing rain storm right now, on all day. thick thick ice on the cars i have gone out 3 times to scrape and man oh man was it thick! ANYWAY LOTS of flights leaving /coming into ottawa are cancelled from now until the end of the evening.

SOOOOOOOOOO Since my flight out is tomorrow morning, there is a chance that there will still be delays (or God forbid, we miss a day on our reservation ) what will happen? Do i need to inform the hotel that we will be late? what about our ADR for dinner, if we miss that would they accommodate us at a later sitting if i called?

i sound like a freak, but i am starting to panick. :O(

First take a deep breath.lol.

Second If *God Forbid* your flight is cancelled or delayed then I would call the hotel and your adr's.But there is a slight possibility that they could ntake u later unkess someone didnt come to there check in time

I feel for you. I was watching the news this morning and seeing all that snow and ice I kept thinking- what about the people trying to get to Disney. This type of stuff freaks me out. I guess it is so on my mind because we are supposed to leave in 15 days and I am praying for NO SNOW!! Heres pixie dust that you will be getting on your plane on time tomorrow.

thanks all. I am from ottawa. The freezing rain has STOPPED! phew. so much for clear skies forcasted earlier this week. (insert eyeroll here. ) so i am going to finish up tidying and packing and i am off in the wee hours of the morning. will report when i get back. have a great week all!

Usually once the weather passes, the airports are pretty quick about getting things up and running. I live next to O'Hare airport in Chicago and tons of flights were cancelled today because of the 10" of snow we received. They were talking on the news that once the weather passed around 1pm that they would slowly ramp up and hoped to be back on schedule by the morning.

I LIVE IN WASHINGTON, IL. RIGHT NEAR PEORIA, IL. WE GOT SOCKED FIRST WITH FREEZING RAIN LAST NIGHT, THEN WE GOT SNOW. EVERYTHING IS CLOSED TODAY!! MY DH, 56 YEARS OLD, MISSED HIS FIRST DAY DUE TO WEATHER! HE LEFT, CALLED ME 10 MINUTES LATER, HE TURNED AROUND,AND WAS HEADED HOME! BUT, WE LEAVE ON THURSDAY!!!!!!!!
