Uh-oh tailgating season is upon us!

Man, our first college football game is this weekend! We aren't going to this game but hosting a "tailgating" party for a bunch of ravinous 19 - 20 year old football crazy males. I am going to have to make their food and my food!! At least I can grill my chicken breast while grilling their ribs!! LOL!! This could be an interesting season.

I feel your pain Tiggerkeeper! I tailgate with my friends for all of UCLA's home games. Go Bruins!! Luckily as we've gotten older our tastes have become more sophisticated. So instead of burgers and dogs it is now salmon and grilled chicken, and the margaritas and beer have been replaced by wine. I think I know where my flex points are going this fall Have a great time and a great season!

Grill all you want, BUT BACK AWAY from the BBQ sauce!!

Seriously, find a good dry rub for the ribs, or some Atkins bbq sauce and you're good to go!

Great idea to grill your chicken while you are making all of the other food! At least you will be able to join in the fun while staying on your plan. Planning ahead helps so much.

My DH and I are not tailgaters but huge fans of hockey. We usually have family and friends over for homemade pizza - pepperoni, sausage, over 1 pound of cheese on each pizza, and more!!!! I am already trying out some new ideas so that I can have a pizza of my own so I don't feel tempted to eat way more points than I want to!
