Uh oh...Is this going to cause us a problem?

We have our trip booked to the world first week of december. Deposits have been paid.

trip was going to be me and dh, and our 2 dk's...then mum, sil and brother.

well dh has decided that he won't be going on the trip (he and I have separated and thats a whole other story....

anyway he cancelled the flight, his holiday time at work, etc. etc. so he isn't going.

will I be able to change the reservation (like i said we haven't paid the final amt yet) without having to cancel and rebook? i don't want to lose anything on our res as it stands right now.. I just need to remove dh's name from the res so there isn't a meal plan passes etc being paid for for him when he isn't going (and subsequently, the other room will change (all on same ressie) so that there are 2 adults in each room, less crowded)

Will I have any problems??!?

Firsy, sorry to hear of your domestic troubles.

If you booked a package, you have until 45 days before your arrival to make any changes to your WDW-based itinerary WITH NO PENALTY OR CHARGES. So you WON'T NEED TO CANCEL YOUR RESSIE just to delete a person from it. If you booked air with Disney, I don't know how that part will work. I'm sure part of that will depend on the policies of the airline.

Thanks very much, Eric. I was hoping that was the case. And thanks for your wishes.

The airfare, actually,was kinda wierd. My husband decided that he wasn't going, and then the airline called and informed us that they CANCELLED the flights all together! So we were offered a full refund, which we took to book new flights, and he chose to not book a seat. Ironic. As the flights were non refundable. He was going to be stuck with a ticket valid up to 1 year to anywhere the airline flies, minus change fees.
