Do you get to keep the bowl that this drink comes in? I see on the disney parks blog it calls it a souvenir, but I see one on ebay and says that you can't buy these.

It's a drink at Trader Sams. Sorry, I don't know if you can keep the glass.

i remember reading on the allears.net menu database that you could keep the glass when you bought the drink. However, allears updated the trader sam's menu in june and now it doesnt say anything about keeping it anymore. Not sure if they just forgot to update that part, or if now disney wont let you keep the glass anymore.

I've had the Uh Oa 2 or 3 times and have never gotten to keep the bowl. I can show you a picture of it, though! They maybe give you the option to buy it but it isn't something I would want to bring on the plane so I never paid attention to that.

Thanks - I should have posted that for others to see. See how that doesn't match the previous picture? I'm wondering if it has changed since that blog entry was posted.

This is not the same bowl that was there just over a week ago, and the waiter was looking for one that was packaged in a box already for the people to take with them, so you do still get to keep them if you want. the one on the disney blog site is the one we saw.

You have the option to buy. The one our drink came in was incredibly ugly, I couldn't imagine someone actually wanting it. We declined and enjoyed the drink, which tasted like straight up rum.
I enjoyed the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum much more.

I'm pretty sure you can buy it. I know that with the Shipwreck you get to keep the "glass" because we now have one of those hideous things in my house and I have no clue what to do with it. lol Luckily, my husband prefers the Shunken Zombie Head and I like the Schweitzer Falls, neither of which come in a souvenir glass.

The Uh Oa we enjoyed a couple of weeks ago. Seriously, I thought I couldn't even use that as a planter, it was so ugly.
For the drinks, we thought they all were pretty darn strong. The bartender was not skimping on the hard stuff that evening.

We enjoyed our evening at Trader Sam's so much, we came back a couple of nights later. Love the area by the outdoor fireplace.

Liz, we had it recently in the same ugly mug you pictured.
I don't recall being offered to purchase it, but we would have declined.
I believe it costs $20. Ours wasn't all that strong, but definitely enough to give you a buzz. We just love Trader Sam's. I wish it were bigger and could accomodate more people.

They are several signature drinks at Trader Sam's where you have the option of purchasing the special glass it comes in. I have two but not the Uh Oa.
