UGH! What to do? UPDATE

If you think you will be happy with PC's amenities and location, I say keep it!!!

It is a short trip, take the great rate, and save your points. DH and I did something like this in May of 2003 and it was so worth not using the points. Because we didn't borrow the points we are able to do an extra week next year in a 1BR--2 full weeks in a 1BR. Once you borrow it is a viscious cycle that doesn't end until you purchase more points.

After our trip to the All Stars last year I wouldn't stay at a value resort again....too much of a herded cattle feel (the CM's were wonderful though...) so I voted for OKW. But if you won't feel crowded in the room and don't really need the more relaxed atmosphere of a resort with bigger rooms, more amenities, etc...I guess keep the reservation.

If I were asked the same question with the resort being any of the moderates at $74 or something I'd vote for the moderate...depending on the cash situation. There have been recent trips for us that we had to do on very little cash....so we borrowed the points instead. We figured we would just use the points while we had AP's and we'll get caught back up while we have PH's over the next year or so.

Bump, I booked OKW!

UPDATE - I couldn't stand it. I booked OKW. It was driving me crazy to spend the cash (although little) on PC when I could just use points for OKW. I kept thinking what was the point in us buying DVC? Now I can use that cash towards our spending money. At least three nice meals out of it for the two of us. Plus, I've never stayed at OKW before! Thanks for everyone's opinions!

I requested near Turtle Pond pool, too. Good request?
I thought it would be away from the pool and slide construction at HH, but still near some slight action.

Does that pool have music playing? I hope so. I like that.

It is now a definite we are going, already bought MNSSHP tickets.
I am close to my use year and am going to have to borrow points to stay DVC thus why I choose PC with that great discount rate instead. I was worried hubby might have to back out.

But now that it is a go... I'm thinking why would I pay anything to stay at PC when I can stay at OKW with points we are already paying for. Does that make sense? Even though it includes a Saturday night it is still only 37 points for three nights for a studio.
(And as of yesterday OKW studio was all they had available for when we're going.)

Sooo, do I keep our cheap rate at PC or switch over to OKW with our points??? I can't decide!
