Ugh..this is the worst drink I"ve ever had!

My nextdoorneighbor called this afternoon and asked me if I'd like 10 cans of storebrand caffiene free diet cola. I'm thinking HEY! Free soda!

So I go over to pick them up and upon returning home, I fill a glass with ice and pour one of the sodas into the glass. I take a sip and go !
The soda tastes like acetone nailpolish remover with caramel coloring and fizzy stuff thrown in. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted.

I know I"m not going to drink the rest of them. They are just too gross. I couldn't even force myself to finish the can I originally opened. But I can't make myself throw them away.

Maybe I should take them to work on Monday and try to fob them off on my coworkers.

I've got the one child on the planet that absolutely LOVES Beverly. He looks for it every time we're at Epcot! He hasn't had too much cough syrup in his life that he actually wants that stuff.

The worst drink I ever had is called a cement mixer. It's a shot of Bailey's with a dash of Rose's Lime Juice in it. You swish it in your mouth and it curdles. I used to love to give those to people when I bartended.
Of course, if you take those to work, it might be a different story.

I have no idea, but I DO know if I take them to the teacher's lounge on Monday, they'll be gone by the end of the day. I wouldn't inflict such horridness upon my beloved lunch crew. That's downright criminal. But the teachers..well..that's another story.....

Funny that you say that. I think the ONLY store brand soda that is decent is the cola flavors! Hehe. I drink Sam's Choice Caffenine Free colas and like them better than Diet Coke. HEB's Dr. Thunder, on the other hand---GAG!

We have a name for those in our house. Gobi Desert sodas. They are so bad you wouldn't drink them even if you were stranded in the desert.
My advice. Toss them!

That's what DH advised me to do, after taking a sip of my soda. But, I just can't force myself to throw it away. I have a hard time doing that with food. I save it until it's really moldy and grody sometimes.


I just HAD to include some of the new smilies. I couldn't resist.


And then I had to go back and delete some of them because I added too many.
