UGH... Morning Sickness at WDW!

WDW will at least be a wonderful distraction from the all day sickness, at least it was for me! We went to WDW this past Feb. when I was 11 weeks and sick all day and all night long. Yes, that's right I would wake up in the middle of the night and be entirely nauseaus. :( Yuck! With this pregnancy whatever I ate made me sick and I actually felt my best when I just had a complete empty stomach. I tried to eat next to nothing. Lemonade was the only thing that really quenched my thirst and did not make me sick. Now with my first pregnancy I was hardly ever sick and eating made me feel better.

Anyway the week getting ready for WDW I was very concerned how I was going to handle this vacation. I certainly wasn't going to cancel, but I was very concerned. Really the packing and business of getting ready helped take my mind off of the constant sickness. While at WDW I took it real easy, didn't really get to enjoy the food that much, but drank lots of lemonade! It made me feel so happy to see DD having such a great time and we went with two other families so there was always constant action and kept me distracted. I didn't ride that much, but enjoyed the shows. DH and my friends on the trip made sure I didn't push myself too much either. Swimming seemed to help a bunch and relax me. Luckily it was really nice weather when we went and could swim. When we returned home the sickness came back for a few more weeks before it totally went away.

Go and I bet you'll have a better time than you think you will now!!! And Congratulations!!!!!!! ::MinnieMo

I was sick for the whole nine months of both my pregnancies and during the first one had a holiday in Orlando when I was about 6 months.

By that time being sick was so routine the best way to cope was just be sick and get on with iwhat ever I was doing. Nothing I ate or drank helped but it is worth trying everything. You never know! Best thing is to find out where all the bathrooms are when you get into the park and carry a plastic bag (or an airplane sick bag) with you in case of emergencies.

Congratulations and good luck
