Ugh--I hate my Snapfish Christmas cards!

Got my cards back today and they do not look exactly like the preview when I placed the order. They cropped the picture too tight and it's cut off a little of my son's face in the picture. I could send them back for a refund, but then 1--I'll have to start from the beginning again and I really wanted to get this off my to do list, and 2--I bought the cards with a one-day free shipping code and now if I order again I'll have to pay shipping. Most likely nobody else will notice (or will think I purposely cropped it so tight) so I think I'm going to go ahead and send them. This is the first year ever that I have not loved my cards. Ugh. Thanks for letting me vent!
 
Did you contact snapfish? If it is their mistake I am sure they aren't going to charge you shipping to fix the cards.
 
Just ordered mine! Stressful isn't it? You're scaring me because mine is cropped tightly, too. I missed free shipping but used scrappysgift for 20% off.

You should contact them and let them know you aren't happy.

Normally I would return them, but I just want to get them done over Thanksgiving. Plus, when I order again, I'll lose out on the free shipping. Anyway, it's frustrating but nothing I can't live with. Trying not to stress over the little things this holiday season...

They will let you keep the envelopes, so you could still be addressing them over Thanksgiving and get your reprints back later to mail. I had to have them reprint some one year, and they were very quick about getting the new shipment to me.
 
And Walmart.com has the same designs and same editing type tools online, and you can pick them up in an hour :) I ordered 30 from them and didn't have enough...so I ordered 15 more last night and they were done this morning :)
 
We used Snapfish last year, and I didn't like them at all. We used Shutterfly this year, and they are so much better! Same thing for the photo books - we used Snapfish last year and won't again this year - the pictures were grainy compared to the books we did the year before at Shutterfly.
 
I just got on the board to say how much I liked my cards!
They arrived today, and I think they are just beautiful. I was worried, because the same picture turned out very green at Walgreens when I printed it Friday. DH was also impressed with the cards.
 
I ordered wallet prints from Snapfish last Christmas. The edges were cut off (not a big deal except they had borders with "Happy Holidays" that was cut in half). They never had me mail them back. They just sent new ones, free of charge, and refunded my first ones. They were also cut off (the bottom pictures were usable, so I did end up getting enough to send), and I called and brought it to their attention. They apologized and credited my account for the amount I had spent (and had already been refunded) for a future order. I've always had very good customer service experiences with Snapfish.
 
I didnt care for mine from shutterfly. they came out too grainy for my taste. there was no error either that it was the wrong pixel size, etc we took it with our $$ canon and have enlarged the same pictures twice the size on kodak gallery and the quality was perfect.. Im not going to send them back either..
 
I ordered photobooks from snapfish last year and they messed them up - I called and told them that I needed them and before Christmas - they reprinted and sent them to me right away. Call and tell tehm that what you got was not what was in the preview and you want them repritned properly.
 
I just placed a large Snapfish print order (over 300) plus the free photo book offer that was on Oprah. A lot of the prints and the pics in the book are really poor quality. I was waiting to take one and have it printed locally to make sure it wasn't just me, but based on what others are saying here, I am going to call them. In the future I'll stick with Shutterfly.

Did you get them already? Are you saying it was giving you a low resolution notice?

I love snapfish and have never had a problem with them. You only hear the negative usually when posting on boards like these. I just printed a calendar and a couple of the large pictures said low resolution. I went with them anyways since they were clear as mud and so glad I did. The calendar is beatiful!

I have not yet received my photobook so I'll see how that goes, but I have gotten mugs, mousepads and more and never an issue.

Yes, I did receive them. They did NOT say low resolution when I ordered them. That is why I am so surprised. There were a few that said low resolution that I took a chance on. Those seem a little fuzzy, where as the others with the problems almost seem "pixalated" if that makes any sense.

Same thing with mine. Expect mine was the wording. I had out names on a sepearte line then the quote and they ran it all together. It still looks good but I bummed.
