clothing manufacturers change things.

I have bought the same style and size blue jeans by Lee since 1990 - I just bought two new pairs (my first in 2yrs) and they have changed them! I buy petites because I am short -they used to fit perfect and had tapered ankles and looked tidy. NOW they have flared out bottoms and they go down past my shoes - and they are the EXACT size/style I have always bought!!! WHAT A PAIN!!!!

I know what you mean. I like a certain bra from Warner. Just bought a new one, same size and style as I usually get, and it's too big. My other ones are not too big. I have a hard enough time thinking I'm too small, and now they make the small too big! Sorry your jeans are different. I do like the flares on me better, but that 's JMHO . I love to shop, so I'd take this as an excuse to go find your new favorited jeans.

DH can just go into a store, find his size, and take the thing home without even trying it on. I hate trying things on, but there's no way I can just assume my clothes will fit. It certainly would be nice if there were standard sizes that all manufacturers followed.
