So I wake up this morning and today is payday via electronic deposit, yahoo! I got online to check how much was deposited and I get a error message saying that I can not access the site because the internet was not connected, etc... yet I'm also looking at the DIS, weird. I try everything but to no avail I break down and call Brighthouse. After awhile on hold and going through 10 million silly prompts I get a voice, I explain the problem and we spend 15 minutes trying to fix it. Nothing is working, "voice" tells me to go to the other room where my wireless router is and unplug it maybe we need to reset it he says.
I pull the plug and "voice" goes silent...
Drum Roll..... The router also runs my Vonage phone, so when I pulled the wire I lost "voice" as well.
Doh! Now I'm wondering if I should call back and explain to "voice" or the new voice what I did and squirm with embaresment or just try to fix it myself. Anyone know what could be causing this? It's only secured sites I can't go to... aka my bank's login screen, my work's portal, everything else works just fine.
