Dang it! I'm just noticing a ring around one of my living room cherry end tables. I tried getting furniture polish and rubbing it out but when I look sideways I can still see it. Anyone know how to remove this? I swear I've read a tip before?? Someone yesterday must've put a glass on it. WTH I've got coasters sitting right out. I'm ticked as it was one of my sisters or grown nieces who should know better!!

Never tried this but I've heard that placing a hot iron on a towel on the spot will pull the moisture out. Someone placed a wet shirt over the back of my wooden kitchen chair and it left a white stain on the chair back i saw it hanging there and removed the shirt. I took a dry shamwow and held it against the stain until i got most of the moisture out. The stain was gone. You should be able to google it to make sure tho

I've done the hot iron trick on my table for a white heat mark and it worked. Not sure if it works for a moisture stain or not.

The Dis is my google.;) But ya I don't know why I don't automatically think to google, duh. I found one tip that said to put petroleum jelly on it over night and wipe off in the morning. I'll try that. It's not a white ring just a ring. And the weird thing is that there is like dried wax around it. But it's not wax because there is no candle but with my fingernail I can scrape off stuff:confused3

Mayonnaise! I had a water ring on one of my dressers and the mayo did the trick. Use full fat mayo and rub it on the water ring. Let it sit for awhile ( I left it on for several hours) and then wipe it off. If it doesn't work, try it again but leave mayo on for longer.

The iron thing works on white heat marks but not on water rings.

Mix mayo and some cigarette or wood ashes into a paste, rub and remove. I don't know why it works, but it does!

I have had very good luck using my blow dryer on high heat to remove moisture rings. My dryer blows very, very hot, so hot that I use a lower heat to actually dry my hair. It takes several minutes to dry the wood but I have used this method with success several times.
