Ugh! Can't get CRT

So when I started planning our trip, I didn't know about the 180 day rule with CRT. I didn't know anything about ADR's really. Well I am now five days out from our trip and I can't get CRT. Worst part is DD is so disappointed. All she keeps talking about is eating with Cinderealla at the castle. It is so sad, and I can't do a thing about it. I do have the Arkershus meal and 1900 park fare, but I have had to explain they are not at the castle. UGH!!!!! Sorry just venting. I am just so disappointed that I can't make this happen. She hasn't said much about wanting this or that, and the one thing she does talk about doesn't seem to be coming through. Any chance we will get anything sooner, or should I just let it go and stick with what we have already?

Did you try to get a dinner reservation ? She wouldn't actually eat WITH the princesses but she'd get to meet Cinderella and have her picture taken with her. And eat in the castle.
From what I've heard dinner ADRs are easier to get.

Keep trying you never know. If still no luck when you get there go right up to the podium see if there were any ADR's canceled. I know the feeling, good luck

because CRT charges in full for no-shows, people do cancel. i believe CRT's cancellation policy is 24 hours. so just keep trying.

Keep trying. I would call everyday just to see if there is a cancelation. The CM can search for the entire time of your stay. Many people change their mind and decide it isn't worth 2TS credits, too, and cancel. I hope you get an opening.

I would even call everyday that you are at the parks. There is a number on the resort phone in your room that calls dining. We have had luck getting another meal for that night when we changed our minds. And call everyday, check breakfast, lunch and dinner if it works for you!

Keep trying and even try once you get to WDW.

I have a friend who went to WDW in April. She got up @ 7:00a.m. went to the front desk and had them check on getting into CRT, she was able to get a 12:00 lunch there that day. So keep trying and even try once you're down there.

Keep calling everyday, even when your there. You can also go to guest relations while your in the parks to see if there are any openings. Good luck!
