UGH. ANother banking question...Updated with use year

Ok to better explain my situation because I realize how unclear my last post was with my example... I don't know why I used that example anyway since I am not planning on going in June...

I am using all of my developer points for the upcoming trip, and I am not using any of my 2008 points.

I have an April use year.

In November I am going to bank 2008s points.

When is the last possible travel date that I can use the 2008 points that I will be banking?​

The specific answer will depend on your Use Year - the general answer is that points in the current Use Year may be used for reservations up thru the last day in the Use Year. If you have a December Use Year current points may be used for reservations thru the night of November 30. Any points left on December 1 (either current or banked) will expire at that time. They cannot be used for any date past November 30.

What is your use year? If you bank 2008 points to your 2009 use year, the points will need to be used for stays by the end of your 2009 use year.

I think you stated in another thread that you have an April UY. If so then the banked 2008 points will be valid for stays from 4/1/09 through 3/31/10. Banked points cannot be banked a second time so you would have to use 'em or lose 'em for one or more stays between 4/1/09 and 3/31/10.

To sum it all up: 3/31/2010 is the very last night for which your banked 2008 points may be used.
