My daughter wants some for Christmas- I will have to get actual Uggs, not another name(everyone at school wears them- blah blah blah) LOL Anyway- she wears a kids 5.5ish. Do I go a size up or down? And any deals out?

Just be careful if shopping online. I thought I was on Nordstrom but it was actually a scam site that used Nordstrom as a front. It said the transaction failed. Within 5 minutes I received a fraud alert from Chase for some technologies CO purchase. Now my CC is locked and I will need to get it replaced. Guess I might not be earning points on Black Friday.

Same thing happened to my sister when shopping for Uggs. Thought she was shopping on Uggs.com, but it was actually a scammer website.

OP, I have worn Uggs for years. I wear a size 7.5 in ladies, but need a size 7 in Uggs. I can also wear a kids size Uggs - a size 5 I think.

I second shopping at Journey Kids - they are cheaper for Uggs.

I just got scammed, and got my replacement card in 48 hours. (It took that long because I called them after it was too late to do UPS that day.) So you should be set for Black Friday!

I've been shopping around for a pair for my DD, too. (She is finally within 1 shoe size of me, so if her foot keeps growing I get to keep them. She is an 8, I'm getting her 9s)

I would definitely go a size up. Cheapest I've found is on Amazon but there is some fluctuation there. I'm hoping for something good on Black Friday or I'll get those.

Thanks all! I think I will get them from journeys or 6pm.com. She wants these grey mini bailey button II's. she wears a "big kids" tennis shoe 5.5. So thinking I may get her a kids 6? I swear she is 14 and has these little feet- I wear a freakin 10. hahaha But its cheaper at least

I would stay away from Amazon for uggs too many fakes. Also definitely don't need to size up if anything sizing down because they stretch with time.

The sizing down only work if you are going from adult sizes to big kid sizes. If you daughter is a size 5.5 adult it would be a size 3.5. If she is a 5.5 big kid then that is that.

I'm a woman 8.5. I easily wear kids 6 uggs. They stretch like nobodies business. If you don't buy them snug, they will be huge after a few wears.

also try zappos. I got my bailey bow talls there for less than nordstrom, dillards, or the uggs site. Not all were on sale, I just got lucky that the ones I wanted were!
Good luck!

Black Friday or Cyber Monday had great deals at Uggs.com and if you went thru Ebates.com even better. Last year I got us 4 pairs very reasonably with free 2 day shipping. I'm definitely looking again this year, I'd love a gray pair

They stretch out- so they will probably be a little tight at first if you size down but I would recommend it if she doesn't have a wide foot. If her foot is still growing I would just get a 6.
I'm a 9.5- I have wide feet so I get a size 10 because a 9 just squeezes my bunions too much. After wearing them for a while I have a ton of room in them. It sucks, but its the only way I can wear them

I may take her out this weekend to try some on, I don't want to deal with returning and all. Thanks to everyone!!!!

Be careful on amazon because some of those sellers could be selling fakes, it is essentially like buying off of Ebay if you buy certain items from a seller. Uggs have outlets so if you have an outlet mall near you, you might want to check to see if they have that style and the price.

I have seen good sales at big department stores like saks, nordstroms, or bloomingdales on those items at times so look around at their sale section and discount prices. If you want a certain style before Xmas though this might be one of those items you have to pay more for and look for a good reward deal on ebates.

I will agree with the outlet idea. Last year we went Black Friday shopping and stopped by the Ugg Outlet and I got pink ones with leopard bows (adult size) for at least half price. And ended up with 2 other pairs i had been looking for.
