Please send SoCal some pixie dust! I am so disappointed about the rain. It is pouring at my house right now. We are going to decide around 3pm if we are going to MHP tonight. I told my fiance that the tickets are non-refundable, so I want to go, rain or not.

I requested this day off from work 2 months ago just to go to the party. Is everyone else with tickets going to brave the weather and go anyway?

No, but hugs! I'd be upset. It's been pouring in HB all day and watching the news looks like we've got more off shore. You should go, even if you have to adjust your costumes! We were planning on a short after school trip this afternoon but are scratching those plans. If we had the party, we'd be there.

Yeah it's pouring So I went on GRR twice in a row hahaha, now back at the hotel to get dry cause it's stopped raining for now and I was completely soaked. They have cute new Mickey & Minnie ponchos though! They're $15 and have ears and all!

Such a bummer. I totally understand. I was at DL for just 1 day during the horrible rain last January. It was truly not a magical experience being cold and sloshing around in 6 inches of water. *HUGS*

Go anyway...it will be fun, the treat stations will be in dry areas(such as the innoventions building)... there will still be a lot of rides available, lots of charachter encounters, and fewer people... we were there during the rain the first week of october, but being from Oregon we are used to it. At least it wasa warm rain to us,lol... we still had fun

Splash Mountain in the rain is a tradition with my family... no one else is crazy like us so we just sit and ride over and over and over. Hey, you're wet already, might as well have some fun

We are going tonight. We were in DL this morning at 7:15 and stayed until the downpour. Went back to the room for a little bit and then headed out to the 12:40 Aladdin show.

For those like me that don't know, I will save you some steps. To get to TOT and the Hyperion theater, you have to go thru Bugs Land.

Not raining right this minute, but we are back at the room giving our feet a rest for the Halloween Party tonight. According to the hour by hour forecast, more rain around 6:00, but just cloudy around 7:00, so it might not be too bad after all.

I'm not gonna let the rain keep me home. I'm coming from northern calif this week for the party on friday and I can't just waste the money and let it slip away. I say go, stay as long as you can and make the most of it.

Well...it started to rain super hard just as they started to let the trick or treaters in, thunder and lightening as well. I was walking back to the HoJo and slipped hard so now I'm upset and soaked even more This trip is turning out to really suck bad...This rain needs to stop so I can enjoy my vacation

The word is that the rain should begin to taper off by 7pm, so if you're down with being cold and having damp feet, I'd still go if I were you. Stinks to have weather ruin something prepaid.

I live close to DLR and it has been pouring and t-storming ALL DARN DAY. The weather report called for "scattered light showers" and rainfall accumulation "less than 1/2 inch".

Yup, not the trip I was hoping for either, spent a few hours in DCA, now back at GCH letting DS4 and DD3 nap until 6:00 or so. They've been so excited to go trick or treating at Disneyland, it's gonna suck, but we r going to make the best of it tonight at the party!! Good luck everyone else!! Some day you'll look back on this and just laugh!!

We're back from the park, walked back through the thunder & lightening & resting right now, getting dry & ready to go back, fingers crossed the rain will disappear

Hi!

I live in Newport Beach and it has been torrential for most of the day!!! All I could think about was the Halloween ticket holders and what a big bummer this is.

Kristin--call the front desk and find out where the washer/dryers are and put your jeans in the dryer!! Take some Advil (or whatever) for your slip and fall on the way back to the hotel and regroup. I hate to think of you missing the party!

Everybody GO and have fun!!! Don't make me put on my soggy sneakers and drive over there!!!!

Post your rainy Halloween pictures, band together at the Plaza Inn and have hot chocolate, go on Pirates and sing the entire way!!!

It was only misty when I was there, and only in the morning, but i was secretly hoping for rain! one reason because the crowds were intense and i was hoping rain would clear some people out! and another reason because i wanted to have an excuse to get a cute poncho! lol!
where do they sell ponchos? it is at every shop? or just certain ones?
