I have just ruined four sheets of transfer paper, because it keeps getting jammed into my printer! I did all the printer maintenance, and it feeds regular paper fine, but the transfer paper keeps getting jammed and wrinkled! This is very frustrating!

I am feeling your pain Teresa
The same thing is happening to me with the dark paper I ordered from EBAY. :badpc: The light AVERY paper I have works fine :confused3 I wanted to use the dark, as I have read that it seems to "hold up" better. I have never done transfers before, and we are leaving on our cruise on Sat....I am beginning to panic! :scared1:

Anyone out there know why this happens?

Experiment with your different paper type settings. I tried all of them and the paper type "premium semigloss photo paper" worked best for me.

I am down to ONE piece of paper! I've never liked this printer! I wish I had some ink to put in my other printer! I am not sure that I can change my paper settings and still have it reversed (I'm using the transfer paper for light fabrics)

MommyMouse- I was hoping that if I ordered the Ebay stuff, I might not have this problem, but I guess it doesn't matter. I might try it anyway, but, we leave for Florida in 10 days, so I probably wouldn't have time to get it.

Well, I'm done. The printer ate my last picece of transfer paper! :furious:

Teresajoy - What kind of paper did you use?

My husband came home today and had everything done on his printer at work  HOWEVER, it is transfer paper he bought at Office Depot, so I'm not sure of the quality. I am putting the transfers on pillowcases for my kids to get signed on our cruise this Sat. I'll just die if it falls apart after I get all the signatures

OP, do you have a laser jet or ink jet printer? My laser jet crumpled up my ink jet transfer paper. The ink jet paper doesn't work on the laser jet, partially b/c of how the ink is applied on the transfer paper. I'm not sure how ink jet paper would react on an ink jet printer though.

So sorry that your printer ate up your transfer sheets. :wizard: I hope you figured out another solution.

I just used Avery for Dark T's and the instructions say not to use it on laser printers or a couple of HP inkjet printers that use heat to get the ink on the paper.

So sorry your having problems.

I just bought a new Mac around Christmas. I thought Macs were supposed to be easy. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to print on 4 x 6 paper and even though I can see how to reverse the image and it shows reversed on screen when I print it out on regular paper it doesn't print reverse. Lucky for me I still have my old PC so I'll just put them on a CD and print them off my old machine. I am getting frustrated but I can still do it just with a bit more work. I can only imagine how frustrated you must be.

:wizard: Hope you find a solution soon!
