Ugg Boots Children's Sizing?

can anyone help with Uggs sizing? I was surfing over at a website that sold Ugg boots and I read some of the comments that went like "I wear a woman's size 6 but bought the kid's size 4 and the fit me perfectly!". Ug.

My DD wears a kid's size 3 She picked up a pair of adult sized Ugg knock-offs at a garage sale and I have not been able to get them off her feet. It's making me crazy since the boots are so big on her feet and she trips all the time. So, I thought I would buy her a pair of the real thing but I am now concerned about the sizing and even if I bought a real pair of Uggs the boots would be way too big.

So, should I buy the size 3's or should I downsize?

My niece can wear a ladies' size 5 shoe comfortably. I bought her size 4 in kids UGGs boots, and they look like they're going to be just right. They do appear to be wider than many shoes I've seen, so keep that in mind also.

I just bought both of my girls Uggs this past weekend at Nordstrom. I had their feet measured because they've been in the same sizes for a year now (2 & 4). They still measured the same, and those are the sizes she sold me. I wear a woman's 9.5 and bought a woman's 9.

Oh, and a women's size 6 is the same as a kid's 4. A lot women buy the kids uggs because they are so much cheaper and go up to a kid's 6.

My daughters both have Uggs. I thought they fit true-to-size. My little one wears a size 10.5 in most shoes. She wears an 11 in Uggs. My older daughter wears a size 13.5 in most shoes and wears a size 1 in Uggs.
