I have subscribed to UG touring plans, and I really like the "sleep in" versions as our family is not early risers, and our kids don't nap anymore. However, with us going the 1st week in December and the parks closing early, I'm worried this touring plan may not include enough time for us to do all the things that would appeal to our triplets (they'll be 5.5 when we go). I would rather go earlier in the am and not miss any of the big attractions.

We are currently planning:
2 full days MK and 1 night at MVMCP
1 full day MGM
1 full day AK
afternoon/evening at Epcot

Do you think we could do the "sleep in" (arrive at the park around 11am with a small break in the afternoon in the park) 2 day plan for MK, 1 day plan for the rest and hit all the things my kids would want? Any advice would be appreciated~

Thanks!

On our last trip to WDW, we got to the parks around 11:00 on some days. On the MK day we arrived at 11:00, had lunch at Tony's, and spent the day in Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square. On our second day at the MK, we had lunch at Mara (AKL) then, spent the rest of the day in Fantasy Land, and Mickey's Toontown Fair. It rained alot on the second day at MK so dd only got to ride the Tomorrowland Speedway and we ran through the rest of Tomorrowland without riding. On our arrival day, we didn't have time to see ANY of the World Showcase. We got to MGM early and still missed alot of rides/shows because of the crowds and dd wanted to wait in line to see so many characters. I'd say be prepared to miss some rides and/or shows if you sleep in but, it was still fun for us.

triplefigs, yes, I think that sounds reasonable.

Thank you, Len. Wow! Can't believe you replied to my post. I'm really pleased with the 'sleep in' version. 2 of my children have special needs (trouble walking-we'll be using strollers/getting a GAC and sensory issues- can have "melt downs" in crowded/tight places). Consequently, rushing through the parks and getting up early in the am to be at the gate for opening is just not a reality for us. We have to take it slow and relaxed to help avoid any problems. I'm just so glad they've added the CRT and PSB for lunch now. Hopefully, we will be able to get late PS and not miss these!

Any other tips or strategies would REALLY be appreciated.

Thanks again and great work!

Having triplets, (or any young ones for that matter) I don't know that I'd do too much in the way of tour planning. You may plan for an 11am arrival, but the kiddos decide the first day they're gearing up by 7! Just know that you're on child time, enjoy it, don't push it (which it sounds like you've already got that part down). You most likely won't see everything. That's why we're all repeat attenders! :goodvibes Planning your PS's for later sounds like a great idea in this case, too.

Wish you lots of fun! :earsgirl:
