UCF Arena

The Harlem Globetrotters are appearing at the UCF Arena when DH and I will be in Orlando on our next trip. We'll have a car, and it looks pretty easy to reach, but has anyone been there and can give us any tips / advice?

We went to see The Trans Siberian Orchestra (fantastic american group) at Christmas. We went on Google Maps to plan the route and found it fairly easily. Try and get there a little earlier to give yourselves a bit of time to look at the campus and eat in one of the cafes, we tried Knightros, for a set amount of dollas you can go round the counters and try different food (ok if you are on a budget). Plenty parking in the multis a little tricky getting out coz they closed the road we wanted to go down but just dont panic and you will get there in the end. Enjoy if you go.

UCF is easy to find but it is a LONG drive. Just take the 417 and follow the signposting. The campus itself is a bit difficult to drive around...reminded me of Swindon!!

Thanks for the advice (although I don't know Swindon that well!). I've just ordered a USA card for our sat nav, so I'm hopeful we'll get there eventually. It actually looks pretty straightforward - like going to Sanford but leaving the 417 a bit early

p.s. we (me, DH, DDs and DD's BF) drove past the purple van at Downtown Disney last October and the rest of the family couldn't understand why I got so excited LOL!
