UCA & UDA Disney Thanksgiving Tour

Has anyone been? My daughter made All American this year and she and a few girls from our area are going. We are already booked at Riverside, and I thought that I could just pay the UCA fee and take her over for the meetings but after reading this packet, I'm not sure. I'm booked from the 23 rd through 29th and I don't want to change that.

Has anyone ever had experience with this?

No one here has had a child go to Disney for this? I'm just wondering if the cost of it is even worth it?

I emailed UCA about doing the commuter package and I hope to hear back soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Try searching the community board for the cheer moms thread (seemed like it was a thread that just kept going or was restarted with each new season). A couple of years ago my niece went to the UCA All-Star competition at WDW, and I found several people on the thread who had been to that competition that could help with some question I had since I was the designated planner for all the family that was going down to the competition. I'd be willing to bet someone that posts on that thread has had a child participate in this event, or knows someone from their gym or school that has.

Check this link out. We are going too. First time UCA All American for my daughter. We are doing the full package. I was going to try and do commuter but she really wanted to "experience" everything. ugh!

Ah, they can go to Disney now? I did Philadelphia twice and NYC once for Thanksgiving parades.

It's a lot, but I'd recommend going all out if you can. Your DDs will look back on it as such a great experience!

ITA. My older daughter was a UCA all star three years and will be her chaperone. Dad and I are hanging out on the sidelines to watch! Should be fun but i am not looking forward to the crowds!!
