Ubers to gated communities

Does anyone have any experience utilizing uber to pick up from the gated communities around Disney (Windsor Hills, etc..)?

I have heard this can be a problem and may compromise efficiency. Any communities better than others with regard to this?

I'm curious as well. Thinking about using Uber for our discovery cove day from Windsor Hills.

We have used Uber from Sheraton Vistana Resort and Marriott Grande Vista (both gated resorts). We met the Uber driver at the security gate closest to our building in both instances, and had no issues. The drivers always call to ask where within the resort that they should look for us. Very easy and never a problem.
