Where did you read or hear that they are not allowing resort hopping next week I guess because of the holiday? What has changed before this weekend? I was there last week and resort hopped a few times with no reservations and all I was asked for was my ID. I was staying on site.
I am guessing Disney is limiting to allow for distancing/ capacity restrictions to “service” the dining needs of their on site guest.
I know they were very strict with allowing entrance at POP and long lines form as the castmembers can not allow casual entrance into gift shop quick service. It is one way in and a different way to exit to monitor guest flow. I support Disney’s efforts and it does create added stress for guest and castmember . It has taken a few visits to understand this new strategy to vacation fun ...
I just checked Capt Cooks hours Open 7 Close 10
I am not saying they would Stop you at the QS or require ID to walk around. I am just explaining some of the reasons for the need to restrict activity.
I was just thinking about the 60 day dining window. How frustrating will it be to actually be a guest at a specific resort and discover N/A reservations to feed your family at the resort you are paying $$$$ to stay at? I kinda wish they would Open the booking window for onsite guests earlier. Even just a one day advantage. ..
Has anybody else been blind-sided by limited capacity for Dining options ? I am thinking & worrying only for holidays currently.
What do you think?
Buses were leaving about an hour before park opening.
Ask a bus driver, doing the day shift, about current times. They are a great resource for getting to and fro.
