Quick question...do hotel security booths allow Ubers to drop off at the hotels if you don't have a dining reservation?(not asking about contemporary I know that's a no) Example Uber from SSR to Riviera or BW to eat at the quick service in the morning for breakfast before heading to Epcot?

BW/YC/BC have reported, at times, that they've been turned away - so it may work, but might not, option would be to go to Swan/Dolphin. Can't help with RIV.

From my experience, not at Beach Club. Last year I took an Uber to Beach Club in the morning since I had a reservation at Cape May Cafe and I was asked for my ID and Magicband to confirm that I did have a reservation there. I saw cars turning around and leaving so I assumed they didn't have a hotel/restaurant reservation.

BW does not allow Uber in w/o a reservation.

The safest bet would be to take a Minnie Van since this is an official Disney-endorsed service (instead of a normal Uber or Lyft), if you arrive in a Minnie Van they will let you in especially since you are already staying at a WDW resort, just be ready to show your MB/Disney resort credentials from SSR just incase they ask..

The gate checks all cars entering the resort and asks for your name and reason for visiting (my driver opens my window for me to talk to the guard). They could turn away an Uber as easily as anyone driving their own car if so inclined

Depends on the guard, but usually it’s a no.

Ok so Ubering isn't worth the risk of being turned away. My wife really wants to visit Le petit Cafe at the RIV for breakfast/coffees. Would I know when booking a minnie van whether or not I'd be good to go?

You transit to a park or Disney springs and then go to whatever resort you want from there. Once at a park and going to a resort they don’t check that you are a resort guest.

As long as you arrive via Disney transportation, you’re good. For RIV that means Minnie Van, Skyliner from DHS or Epcot, or bus from MK or AK.
