Uber outage

Uber was down for a while this evening -- neither the driver app nor rider app were working. It appears to be back up, but I'm not sure rides are being received and accepted properly.

Also, note that some customers have noticed rides which never occurred billed to their accounts. So check your rider account. (Mine is fine.)

The app issue was fixed last night about an hour after I posted here. Hopefully nobody was inconvenienced.

But if you tried to use the app last night be sure to check your rides. There apparently were some issues -- mostly with rides in progress when the servers went down, because the driver was unable to end the ride with the system down.
