I read somebody said they felt it worked out faster to drop off at Bay Lake tower vs at the actual Contemporary Hotel.

One other choice that we've used, drop at GF and take the monorail over. It's a single stop from there.

Eh, may well be all of 30 seconds faster.
Actually best option is to be dropped in the parking lot on the left, just past the guard gate, rather than driving all the way to the BLT entrance. Just not IN the drive areas, make sure they pull out of the path of any vehicles needing to drive by.
