Uber/Lyft vs Car service

Hello everyone,

I'm on the last steps of booking stuff for my april trip and I'm trying to decide what to do as transportation from the airport.

What is the benefit of having a Car service instead of using cabs or Ubery/Lyft?
We'll be 3 adults (My parents will land before me on terminal A and will join me in terminal C since they have time before my arrival) and we'll have 3 luggages and small backpack. Since I'll land at 5.55 pm (and I have to do immigration coming from Europe) I would love to be maximum at 7.30/8.00 pm at my resort...

The benefit of car service is they’ll be waiting for you and should offer a little a more personal touch.

I live locally and fly out of MCO, I always take an Uber or lyft and I generally don’t wait longer than a 5 minutes. If you decide on Uber/Lyft - check Uber wait times before you are curbside so you can cut down the wait and order ahead. You may want an Uber XL depending on how much luggage you all have.

Terminal C runs a different model to most airports. You collect your luggage before immigration, so once you’re through immigration you’re done. Oh and so you’re prepared, it’s a long walk from the gate!

Many car services will allow you a quick stop at a grocery store if you'd like. You also have the piece of mind of knowing what the cost is going to be and that they will be there waiting for you. I was in TPA last month with my wife and a co worker, only two bags and we barely fit into a standard Uber, driver had the cargo area packed with other stuff.
