Uber from Cape Canaveral to the port

Has anyone used UBER to the port from one of the hotels in the Cape Canaveral area?

I saw something recently about the port charging Uber drivers a large fee so I want to know if Uber is going to be an option or not.

Not yet, was researching for our first cruise in August. I can't remember if someone recommended it or if I stumbled upon it.
