Uber drop off spot at Contemporary For walk to MK

i was listening to both resortloop and backside of magic podcasts recently on the drive home from work and, while made a mental note to listen again to grab the details, alas, I did not.

In whichever one it was, there was mention of having uber drop you off in a spot closer to the MK walkway than front of contemporary.

Does anyone know what the podcast host was talking about? It was something about asking them to go more toward the left... but I can't remember the specifics. I'm really just trying to figure out what specifically to say to the uber driver.

Looking at google earth, I can kind of see what he meant, but not sure where an uber driver can drop off there. Is it like just after the gates into contemporary, ask them to take a left and stop just in the parking lot there? It looks like that may be right at the pathway.

The ideal area to drop you off "at the Contemporary Resort" to walk to Magic Kingdom is just past the guard shack although not right in the view of the guard so as to block traffic. A break in the median heading towards the self parking rows is an excellent place to turn off and immediately drop you off.

Metered taxi drivers will prefer to take you all the way to the resort building entrance to click off an additional 1/5'th mile charge increment.
