We are here at Anaheim Marriott Suites right now and preparing to head to DL tomorrow. We'd like to take Uber to/from our hotel instead of the shuttle. Where is the best place to have them drop us off in the morning? Where should we go tomorrow night to arrange for an Uber pick up? Any one used Uber at DL and have any tips?

I had them drop me off at DTD, but it depends on what time you want to get there because sometimes DTD can be busy at a certain time, but I think there used to be a drop off place that is off of Harbor(?) that's by a Disneyland sign. I also had them pick me up by DTD as well! I didn't feel like it was much of a hassle and I enjoy walking through DTD even though I've done it multiple times.

There's a drop off lot on the west side of Harbor just south of the shuttle drop off that you can turn into when heading south. Any Uber driver in the area should know about it.

I've only walked by it once and it was after 10pm on a Saturday during the summer. The car line the amount of people sitting on the curb waiting for their ride was a beast. Since cars can't back up the entire lane on Harbor, I would assume that many of them had to circle around the entire property to get back. Maybe I just happened to see it at the worst time, but I told my daughter as we were walking through it, that I'd never give her a ride or pick her up there. I'd rather drop off/pick up a block or 2 away. I think if I called an Uber, I'd probably ask them to pick me up either across the street at Denny's or a little further away like Anaheim Garden walk.

I've seen Anaheim PD set up cones in the lane for the lot, so I'm not sure they're forced to circle. Maybe some choose to. The Uber driver would be risking a ticket to drop off or pick up in a no stopping zone. The last time I went to that Denny's there was a gated parking lot. Anaheim GardenWalk probably has an Uber drop off area. Disney or any property in the area could ban Uber/Lyft from making pick-ups. There are designated drop off locations. People should use them.

We walked by the drop-off location on Harbor, very close to the main entrance, several times last month while walking to the parks in the AM. Never saw any congestion at all but we were always there an hour before opening. Didn't walk by at night since we took the Toy Story shuttle instead.
