DD and I are heading to Universal for a quick weekend trip, and we plan on heading over to Disney to ride the skyliner and having dinner and drinks at a couple of the resorts (she's never been on the skyliner). With Saturday being the end of many schools being off for Easter break, will we run into a problem being dropped off at HS? Have parks reached capacity this week? I'd hate to get turned away, I just think HS is our best option to start the ride.

Thanks!

Are you wanting to get into Hollywood Studios to explore and ride the rides? Or are you just wanting to get into the parking lot to ride the skyliner?

If you want access to the park, you would have needed tickets and a park pass reservation. Availability is sold out at this time.

If you're just wanting on the skyliner, you should be fine to get dropped off at the park. They don't check tickets at the toll booth, so just have the driver tell them he's dropping you off.

No plans to enter the park. I know they’ll ask at the gate if we have a park reservation, we’ll just say yes to avoid the explanation. My concern is if they hit capacity and close the parking lot

That makes sense. I don’t think they would close the parking lot, but in case they do, you can have the driver drop you off at the swan or dolphin hotel entrance. Since these aren’t Disney owned resorts, they don’t have the security guards that would turn you away. You can walk through the hotel and out towards the walking path around crescent lake. Then walk over to Epcot’s International Gateway area to get on the skyliner there.

You would not even necessarily need a reservation, as people are permitted to park hop after 2 PM. No need to say yes.
