Just curious, but how much would you be willing to pay for a combined Disneyland & Walt Disney World annual pass with no water park fun and more option?

I'd probably be willing to pay $600 to $650, but not much more.

Interesting. I looked online to the cost of the DLR annual pass that has no blackout dates and includes parking, and the cost of the standard annual pass at WDW. For one adult, the combined price is $950.00.

:scared1:

So if they offered a North America annual pass that got you admission and parking to all major theme parks, $600 sounds like a bargain!

I think I would be willing to pay about $100 less than the two APs combined. It would probably be something I would only do once and plan a lot of Disney trips that year.

I would love to see an "all parks" AP. I would love to see all the disney parks in one year.

I took it a step further to account for costs of people renewing their WDW annual passes and those who get the DVC discounts.

And these are prices rounded.

People buying both DLR and WDW new combined: $950.00
People buying both DLR and renewing WDW combined: $907.00

And those with DVC:
DLR and WDW new combined: $843.00
DLR and WDW renewal combined: $795.00

So a cost of $600.00 to $650.00 is still a bargain.

Intersting....Maybe $800 would be a better number.

If they charged that, I'd want that payment plan that the Southern CA residents can get with their DLR AP purchase! :faint:

There is a rumor going around that FL residents will be offered a payment plan...check out the Disney Rumors and News board!

I know that would bring some of my friends and co-workers to WDW because they've told me that they chose Universal over WDW simply because of the no-interest payment plan. If Disney offered a similar option, I'm sure they'd get more "townies" into the parks.

I think I heard on another podcast that it's rumored to be approximately $800

I don't know that I would pay for one. We have gotten annual passes for WDW before, but only when it works out that we need them. Em and I will probably both get them this year. Possibly James. But if would happen to need an annual pass for WDW, there is probably not a possibility of going to DL.

Since I don't get to the left coast with any regularity (only been twice in the last 15 years) I'd only buy one of these in a year that I was planning a Disneyland trip. And in that case I'd only be willing to pay the difference between a regular WDW AP and a 5 day DL/DCA ticket.

MiceChat mentioned this "Domestic Parks" pass as a possibility a while ago...

I also don't think I'd go for it at all. I can't see possibly getting to both parks enough to make it work. It is hard enough getting to WDW often enough :)

FYI, MousePlanet is reporting that paying WDW APs in installments may be an option this year, but according to them only FL Residents are eligible...

That would be my issue as well. How many people would visit CA and FL enough to find it appealing, well except for Ros....

I'm going to Disneyland for 2 days in May. My last trip there was 3 days in March 2006. Since I don't go to CA very often, it wouldn't interest me at any price.

I've been to DisneyLand twice in my life, only because I lived in San Diego at the time. When I left the West Coast, I didn't look back. Upon being stationed eastside, we checked out the "new" Disney Park and I fell totally head over heals for WDW. At that time, MK and EPCOT were the only parks open. As much I did enjoy DL, and don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful park and it holds the memories of Walt, I just don't see myself going to the west coast for a Disney fix, when WDW in Florida has so much more to offer, it's so much bigger and closer. So for me, I wouldn't buy both.

I've gotten out to DLR a few times, but usually a couple years between the most recent trips. It doesn't make sense for me to get the DLR AP.

But I did notice that everywhere I went to eat, the Disneyland/DCA cast members asked if I had an AP. Apparently you get a discount for quick service at Disneyland if you have an AP. They all seemed surprised that I was an actual tourist!

I do have the WDW AP, with the DVC member discount. That's been worth every penny.

Nothing. I don't go to California.

I always SAY I'm going to go to California, but I never do. No way I'd buy the passes until I booked the flight. And I wouldn't go enough to justify an AP.

I could see the $750 - $800 range. Living so close to DLR and the fact that we also get to WDW with some regularity, yes, I'd do the combined pass. It won't be for everyone, but it would work for us!

I guess I am a cheap skate, but my max would be $100 over WDW AP price at the time of sale to have access to both parks.

It would be neat if a WDW AP would also cover DL admission right now.

Given that they accept WDW days on MYW tickets, I don't understand why they don't take the AP...it would more likely get me to go over to the left coast and spend money.
