Typical trip length for your family at WDW?

Curious to see how many nights most people stay. The most we have planned is five nights cause I just can't seem to justify those higher point nights on Friday and Saturdays. Just curious, so I did a poll.

We actually do different scenarios, but I chose the 4-5 weeknight option since that is what we have done the most. It is workable for us to drive back and forth on the weekends and stay the 5 weeknights, but I do look forward to longer stays for more relaxation!

Actually needed a 7-8 nite option. Most likely mine will now be 7 nites ,we'll start arriving Sunday rather then Saturday and leave the following Sunday. My 8 day trips required three nites of weekend points, rather save them for a possible forth trip per year.

Our last contract for additional points allows us to go for 12 nights...so we only have two weekend nights.

I never would have taken two weeks in a row of vacation if we hadn't bought into DVC. That alone makes this "investment" a wonderful decision!

We usually stay 8-10 nights with 5 of them at a DVC resort (Sun-Fri) and the rest at another Disney resort.

I usually go for 2 weeks in the late fall, and then my big vacation in mid-Jan/mid-Feb. I have 34 nights (all DVC) scheduled for this coming Jan., and I can't wait!

I agree! Before DVC, my vacations were for 7 or 8 nights. Now, I have DVC to thank for my winter getaway.

Our summer vacation with children is usually 14-16 nights. Just DH and myself have started going during spring break for 5 nights (S-Th). We can't justify weekend points and we also stay in a studio when it is just us two.

So I voted for the higher number of nights.

Our plan is four nights at VB, followed by eight at WDW.
That is the PLAN, but it always seems to need some tweaking.
