Typical summer hours?

We're planning our first Disneyland Resort visit next summer (I haven't been since 1986!) and I'm just starting the planning process. What are the usual park hours for both DL and DCA? And are there usual parade/fireworks/Fantasmic times?

We'll either be visiting in mid-ish June OR right before July 4 OR mid-ish July. Our visit will be dependent on the dates we can get for the Yosemite portion of the two-week-long trip (family of 5 so we're limited to certain in-park lodgings--been there before). I know that the July 4 period is crazy nuts, but when do you think crowds will pick up before the 4th (which is a Saturday in 2009)? Will that entire week be as crazy? Or do crowds pick up on Thursday for a holiday weekend? Our option for that time period would have us at DLR starting on Sunday and leaving the resort on the Thursday, so in parks Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

DL- 8am-midnight
CA- 10am-9pm

I think the hours for CA are right, we were just there in July, but at the end so I don't know about the best days for 4th of July time.

Since CA opens later, we always went to DL at opening then run over the CA for the afternoons, then back to DL at evening.

Yes, those hours are pretty standard. These are the standard show times:

DCA Electric Parade- 8:45
