We are here now and it looks like very high chances of rain/storms every evening til Fri, Sat and Sun. What are typical crowds like. I know my best day would be Sun and the worst Sat but what about Fridays? We would probably be at US in the evening to see the fireworks show and pray that we are able to do transformers. Any thoughts???

there are more indoor rides at the studios than IOA.
rides shut down if lightening is within 5 miles of the park.

go ahead and do the parks.

if it is pouring, do the studios until the rain lessens.

take a poncho, be prepared........

weather is iffy at times.
it might rain, it might not.

sometimes when it rains/pours, crowds stay away from the parks.
you're on vacation.
don't let the rain keep you away.

I think you should grab a poncho in case of rain and have a good time with or without rain. We are expected to get lots of rain this week due to a tropical system off the southern coast of Florida. Wednesday and Thursday seem to be the worst two days but I doubt it will be a constant downpour...just brief downpours but they will be heavy.

I went to opening night of Halloween Horror Nights last year and it was like a monsoon but it was kind of fun. The park emptied out and lines were practically nonexistant.

Definitely will pick up some ponchos. The rain will not keep me away from transformers!! Especially since it's been iffy...today at seaworld thought for sure it would pour but never did anything.
How about actual crowds on Fridays regardless of weather. Does it get more crowded with locals?

I think locals tend to hang out at CityWalk more than the parks in the evenings during the week. Weekends at the parks are when locals show up.
